About Jennifer
For the past few years, I have been studying and practicing the art of Shiatsu. I am a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage Shiatsu and Asian Bodywork Program. I have earned the national board certification in Asian Bodywork Therapy and title of national diplomat in Asian Bodywork Therapy through the NCCAOM.
After graduating with honors from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and Premedical, I decided to put medical school on hold for a while.
A year later, I found myself in Baltimore, Maryland where I experienced my first acupuncture treatment. After some initial skepticism, I was fully amazed by not only the emotional benefits, but the profound physical and spiritual impact as well. Acupuncture made such an impression on me that I began to investigate Chinese Medicine and discovered that I could study Shiatsu.
Shiatsu and the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine have become a devotion of mine. I look forward to continuing to explore, enhance, and broaden my knowledge and skills. I shall be delighted to use my knowledge and skills to help you achieve the healthful benefits of Shiatsu!
